Charlene's Home Cooking opened in February 2010 and is located near the Westgate area of Spartanburg, SC just off of East Blackstock Road. Ranked as the #1 restaurant in the Moore area based on reviews on Tripadvisor, what once was family secret on where to get the best food in town has spread like wildfire. Owners, Charlene & Mike Davis generously serve up recipes that have been in Charlene's family for generations. Carrying on the traditional started by the family matriarch, Annie Laura Sims-Alexander whom everyone affectionately called "Ma Bessie" or "Ma Bess" for short, Charlene's Home Cooking is the go to place when craving a home cooked meal.
